9/13/26 Meeting & Picnic; Frying Pan Park

The next ATCMW meeting and picnic will be on Sunday, September 13 at Frying Pan Park in Herndon, VA from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.  Good news: Lunch will be FREE, thanks to the generosity of several of the Club’s board directors.  A menu will be sent to you in the next two weeks so you can choose your sandwich in advance.

The meeting will include a discussion led by Corally Burmaster of the AKC’s Canine Good Citizen (CGC) title and demonstrations of some of the exercises required to pass the CGC test.  Members will be encouraged to try some of these exercises with their dogs.  It should be a fun learning experience for members and their Airedales!

We will also have the election for the 2026-2027 Board which consists of the same slate currently on the Board.  Please note that Melissa Tyson has been appointed as the Marketing Chair and will be looking for input from members for ways to increase membership. 

If time and weather permits, members and their Airedales will be encouraged to explore and take a walk around the Frying Pan Park trails.
