March, 2010

March 21, 2010
Sunday 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm

Our grooming workshops are offered to provide Airedale owners (club, non-club, pet or show) with an opportunity to learn hands-on grooming techniques in a group setting.  Handouts on grooming supplies, vendors, equipment suggestions and grooming diagrams will be available for all attendees.

CLIPPING – Our grooming sessions for 2010 will feature a live demonstration of clipping an Airedale.  After the clipping demo, attendees will then work on clipping their dog.

STRIPPING – A stripping video may be viewed or borrowed from the grooming coordinator for those interested in learning to strip an Airedale.  The grooming coordinator will work and demo stripping techniques with individuals.

YOU MUST RSVP TO ATTEND A GROOMING SESSION(S)!

Let the Grooming Coordinator know which grooming session or sessions you will attend, your preferred method of grooming (clipping/stripping) and the number of dogs you will bring.  Your dog(s) should arrive combed out, tangle free and freshly bathed (bath doesn’t have to have been that morning).  A clean coats make grooming easier and will extend the life of your clipper blades/grooming tools.
